St. Worts and All
A seeker of knowledge and justice
The son of a wealthy merchant, Roland was originally groom to take over the family business. But at an early age he rejected the pursuit of money and power and instead focused on studying and showed great compassion and fairness, which cause a rift between father and son that never healed. It was a wizard doing work for his father who noticed the spark in Roland and told him he could be a great Mage. Once he discovered his innate ability it was only a matter of time before he left to pursuit his dreams. He forced his father to give him his inheritance which he then spent on his training as a wizard. With his training he now has more of an appreciation for power and has pledged to use his to attain all the knowledge a man can and to make the world a safer place for those who cannot protect themselves. While he could of locked himself away in some tower spending centuries studying the arcane magic arts, he feels true knowledge and real power only comes from interacting with the real world and people.
